flowers* is run by Wendy & Nick and a small team of budding designers, we are a young Yorkshire based Specialist Wedding and Event Florist offering a full design service. We are renowned for our cool, contemporary arrangements from blooms on a budget to full- on “A-list” glamour! We can work to any remit or a fully tailored package suited to our clients needs. We are located between Leeds and York, close to many respected and popular wedding venues. flowers* offer a nationwide service within the United Kingdom and can also supply most European countries. all our flowers are specially ordered from suppliers in Holland and other countries to ensure the best available colour match and quality on your special day.

Wendy studied at Bishop Burton College, gaining a National Diploma in Floristry at triple distinction level. After college and other training courses with several of the UK’s leading florists Wendy also won an award to work alongside the world famous florist Gregor Lersch, through the Society of Foristry. We are passionate about what we do at flowers*, we strive to produce satisfaction and to deliver a service that is second to none. We believe that our clients' wishes are the most important aspect of any wedding or event.

We have a unique way of working as you can see here. Our mobile workshop allows us to work Nationwide, as an example we have recently worked in Inverness, North & South Wales and London to name but a few locations.

flowers* work has featured in many national and regional magazines and photo shoots. We have also appeared on The Apprentice 2008, at the National Wedding Event (design stage).

flowers* are very pleased to have worked with the National Wedding Show team at the NEC Birmingham since 2007 where we hosted the wedding flowers inspiration session alongside celebrity wedding planner Sarah Haywood, as seen on the Apprentice 2008. With our team's expert flower knowledge and design skills, we proved to be a huge hit as we advised brides-to-be on how to choose the perfect bridal and reception flowers, looking at current trends and budgeting.

At the 2008 National Wedding Show flowers* hosted the Inspiration Show for Wedding Flowers with Ant & Dick, cheeky agony uncles and wedding planners who requested that we be one of the top ten florists on their website www.antanddick.com
